Delivery

Parcels are sent via Royal Mail or Parcel Force. Please allow 2 - 4 working days for your delivery to arrive.

Business days are Monday - Friday (08:00-1800) and Saturday (08:00-12:30). Orders placed Monday - Friday after 17:00 will be processed the next working day. Orders placed after 12:30 on a Saturday and anytime on Sunday will be processed the next working day.

The courier will require a signature from the recipient as proof of delivery.

Orders can be placed on a Bank Holiday, but will not be processed until the next working day. Any deliveries scheduled to arrive on a Bank Holiday will be delivered the following working day.

Tracking information and updates will be sent to the customer via email or text message.

We deliver to mainland UK addresses only.

Returns

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days. Your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days after the day you receive it. Please be aware that your right to cancel does not apply to certain goods that we sell.

You must inform us of your wish to cancel and return an order by email to shop@smithsrenault.co.uk within 14 of you receiving the goods. You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession and not use or install them to your vehicle. Merchandise clothing must not be worn, other than to check for correct fitment. Authorised returns must arrive to us in their original packaging, including any fixings and instructions, as soon as possible after informing us of your wish to cancel.

Return requests must be made to us between you placing the order and 14 after you receive it. In order for us to correctly identify and process your return, you must fully complete a Returns Form and include this with the items when you return them. A Return Form will be sent to you by email once we have received your request to cancel an order and authorised this request.

Cancelled items along with a completed Return Form must be received by us within 14 days of us authorising the return. If the items in question are not received by us within this time, you may no longer be entitled to a refund. Items returned without a returns authorisation number and fully completed Returns Form will be rejected.

If you return goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method with tracking. If goods are returned with missing parts, or are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage.

We cannot accept substitute or alternative items by way of returns, nor are we able to send them back to you. Due to this please look closely at the items you return to us. If you return, or attempt to return, substitute or alternative items, you will still be responsible for paying for the original product purchased.

You are responsible for the full cost of returning goods and we highly-recommend you use a fully tracked service to ensure your return reaches us safely.

The amount refunded to you will reflect the purchase price of the item, including the standard delivery charge (where applied), excluding any delivery surcharges. We cannot refund delivery charges where only part of an order is cancelled/returned or where we have not authorised the return.

There are items that cannot be returned/refunded for any reason. These include:

  • Any items that have been personalised
  • Painted parts or accessories
  • Touch-up paint
  • Special order products – Items that are not normally held in stock and must be ordered specially are a special order. Where an item is a special order, you will be advised prior to your order being confirmed or it will be stated in the product description
  • Delivery surcharges
  • Return shipping costs


Refunds


We aim to process refunds within 7 working days of receipt of your return. However, please allow up to 14 days from return for the credit to appear in your account.
